Cakes For Kids Saskatoon started up in 2021, and we are happy to be here!
We aim to ensure that every child has the opportunity to feel special and enjoy some delicious cake on their birthday. We do this by connecting volunteer bakers with families who may not be able to provide a birthday cake for their kids.
We don’t need you to be an expert baker. Whether you have tons of experience, or this is the first cake you’ve made, we are sure that a child in our community will appreciate the love you poured into that delicious dessert.
We partner with parent/child organizations that are able to identify families who may be perfect for our program. They contact us, and we contact our volunteer bakers! The children and families are able to remain anonymous, and the volunteer’s love and effort is always appreciated.

We reach out to our volunteers to coordinate around their schedule. Volunteers have up to 48 hours to respond.
